Adelaide Crows captain Jordan Dawson has missed training as concerns grow over the disappearance of his brother, Jaryd Dawson, prompting an urgent search effort and public appeal from the family.

According to reports, Jaryd Dawson’s wife, Jessica Carter, issued an emotional request on social media asking for information after he was last heard from around 2:30pm on Tuesday. The message was widely shared by family members, including Jordan Dawson’s wife, Milly, as the family appealed for any sightings or contact.

Adelaide Crows coach Matthew Nicks confirmed the captain’s absence, stating that Dawson would miss training for personal reasons as the club prioritizes family support during the developing situation.

Authorities have also launched a search operation. South Australia Police said they are currently searching for a 35-year-old man in Robe, with emergency services assisting. Police noted that further details are being withheld due to privacy considerations.
