Deadly Lambton College Shooting: Suspect Yet to Seek Bail as Manhunt Continues

A tragic shooting at Lambton College in Sarnia has left one person dead and two others injured, as authorities continue their investigation and search for a second suspect.

The incident occurred in the early hours of April 10, 2026, at the campus pub, the Lion’s Den. Police confirmed that 20-year-old Dane Nisbet was fatally shot on the patio around 1 a.m. Two additional victims, reportedly former teammates of Nisbet from a local junior hockey team, sustained injuries but survived.

One of the accused, Oudom (Richard) Bun, 23, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder along with two counts of attempted murder. As of April 16, Bun has not yet applied for bail, leaving him in custody while legal proceedings continue.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officials are actively searching for a second suspect believed to be involved in the shooting. The ongoing manhunt has heightened concerns within the local community, as residents await further updates from investigators.
